Thirty Years in the Making
Hot Shot Pressure Washing was founded in 1996 by Garrett, who built the company from the ground up with a simple philosophy: do good work, treat people right, and the business will take care of itself. For over two decades Garrett grew Hot Shot into a recognizable name across Salem, Roanoke, and the surrounding Roanoke Valley, earning a reputation for reliability and quality that kept clients coming back year after year.
Brian Mehalso joined Hot Shot as a technician, learning the trade from the inside out. He did not just learn how to operate equipment. He learned how to read a property, how to communicate with clients, and how to solve problems in the field. When Garrett made the decision to transition ownership in 2022, there was no question about who should carry the company forward. Brian had earned it.
Since taking over Brian has brought a renewed energy and vision to Hot Shot while staying true to everything that made the company great. The residential roots are still there. The longtime clients who have trusted Hot Shot for ten, fifteen, even twenty years are still being served with the same care they always have been. But Brian has also set his sights on growing the commercial side of the business, bringing Hot Shot's standards and reliability to property managers, HOA communities, apartment complexes, and commercial facilities across the region.
Thirty years in, Hot Shot is still locally owned, still community rooted, and still showing up every day ready to do the work. That has not changed and it never will.
